There are a number of options with regards to wedding planning incorporating the bagpipes. Some of the options are listed here:

     •  Play outside the ceremony location as guests arrive.
     •  Lead the processional into the ceremony.
        This can be for the entire wedding party, but is often
         reserved for the bride.
     •  Play at a specified moment during the ceremony.
     •  Lead the recessional. This can include the entire wedding party,
        but isusually reserved for the bride and groom.
     •  Play as the guests arrive at the reception.
     •  Lead the bride and groom into the reception.
     •  Play at a specified point at the reception.

Please bear in mind that outdoor piping can sound less than optimal when temperatures drop into the 40’s.

Formal highland attire is standard, which includes kilt, jacket, tie etc.
